I have trust issues so I always find a truck and rent a trailer and do it myself.
Traction is optional, so are zipties

I am using TFX International Specialized Vehicle Transport to ship my car from BC to Toronto. They will transport cars that can't be started, as long as the tires are inflated. They might have a small extra fee for that though.

I would go with TFX, we used them all the time and it would blow my mind to see what kind of cars they have in the trailer every time they would pick up a car. If TFX is good enough for a masonry rolls royce they can tow my car any day of the week.

post some pics of the head and piston damage (if any) when you get the car. I'm curious.

They've shipped one of the only Koenigsegg's in Canada as well.
I used them and they did a wicked job. They had to pull two Gallardo's off the truck on my street to get my GTR out. It was pretty sweet.
FYI Their "pushing fee" is $200 last i knew
The only thing is; they are pricey. I dont know what kind of condition your car is in but if it has a blown motor and perhaps its not in amazing condition and you aren't as worried there are definitely cheaper options out there. Rail is always another option depending on how far the car has to travel. For cross country stuff TXF is awesome.
