Anyone else have this happening to them?

Hey guys, just wondering if this has been happening to anyone lately. A few weeks ago, I received a call on my cell from a +92 number, didn't pick it up, I had a feeling that it was some bogus telemarketing thing and if it was important, they'd leave a message, but none was left. Keep getting them every now and then from alternate numbers with the same area code. Sometimes the calls come in at an absurd hour of the morning, they're pretty persistent about it too, if no one picks up, they call back 3 or 4 times. Also happened at my house, and I know quite a few of my friends are complaining about the same thing, but some of them are getting calls from Dubai lol. Google search said that area code originates in Pakistan? Regardless, it's annoying and these calls are really starting to bug me, anybody else have this happening?

I got a parking ticket from some private parking company like 3 years ago. They've been calling twice a day ever since. Basically it always goes like this:

Them: "We're going to be forced to take you to court, or go after your credit rating, sir"
Me: "lol"

As if. About the only thing they can do is tow me if I park in their lot again. Except I dont work there anymore. Yes, a parking ticket while parked in an employer's parking lot.

LMFAOOOO, I lol'd. Oh well, no harm done, called my service provider today, got them to block the numbers. On a serious note, apparently some people have been getting the same calls from the numbers who claim to be lottery organizations saying that the person who picks up has just won some crazy amount of money and proceed to ask for personal info...these people are also known as scam artists LOL. When a +92 number calls....hai faive!

Canadian Advertising companies (I think). I was at home during the holidays and my mom picked up a Montreal number with speakerphone. After a 2 second intro, they asked to press 1 if you didn't want to be contacted again. She pressed the number before the message ended and the phone disconnected, so that was that.

If it's foreign, there's RCMP hotlines specifically to report them. The number is in the phonebook or google it.
