over 40? damn you're OOOOLLLLLDer than dirt :P.....

lol i remember the atari 2600's as if it was yesterday with the side wood trim... ah the memories... but no microwave? i remember them in the 70s... damn you must be old :P did you have electricity and running water back then? lol

but yeah coming from an ex club/radio DJ... just that aspect alone if i was maybe 5 years younger there is so much more that could have accomplished with the media tech of today...

even with the internet... remember netscape? or how about search engines like altavista or sites like geocities while i was making a U of T homepage i could have been buying www.ibm.com or www.apple.com and just be sitting on them... what a waste...

or how about the days before debit... having that highschool date caring a stack a cash wondering if you'd have enough to pimp it out the whole night. lol...

Im 26 but there are so many cry baby good for nothing people who just bitch about crap but do nothing to change or improve their situation or the world. I woke up to this skit on the radio this morning and thought it was pretty funny.

im only 16 but i agree with alot of stuff in that lol
i dont have a cell phone, xbox, or playstation, ive got a computer only because i worked my a$$ of to get it (plus i need it because my school is web based). if my parents told me to stay outside all day i would!! haha
i know for a fact im not going to be like alot of my friends who have cell phones xbox's or whatever else and live at home till there 25. i plan on having a job as a mechanic and moving out by the time in 18.
technology has made things easier but because of that alot more is expected of you and that can take means you have to work 3 times as hard to get anything done because your expected to be perfect

Just to throw my $.02 in... So nobody get too pi$$ed at me, K? For all those who mentioned how hard it is to be young in the workplace today... What do you think those of us are in our 30's and 40's are doing every day? We work too, and have to live up to the same standards you "young guys" do. I'M NOT TRYING TO FLAME ANYONE!! But seriously, I don't know many 35 year olds that collect OAP lol!! I really agree with some of the posts too... I can't imagine having to go to an actual war and fight for my (and everyone else's) freedom like my grandfathers did. Boggles the mind. And I did have a console gaming system growing up... The Intellivision Lmao!!

Nobody get your knickers in a knot... Or if you really feel the need to please flame me via pm... Great read and funny as hell for us "old guys"!! Thanks JZ!!

I don't know, I had remotes and microwaves and Colecovision and a Beta (yes, beta) VCR and watched every cheeze-ball movie ever to come out of the '80s. I turn 40 this year.

One thing is for sure, all the modern conveniences (especially the video games) is a major contribiting factor to adult and childhood obesity. Type 2 diabetes is through the roof.

that's just bad parenting for feeding your kids **** and letting them sit on their asses all day. I'm also sure the fat 10 year old didn't pay for his own PS3, COD and a plasma tv in his room.
