I have a 12in kicker cvr in a sealed box and it sounds pretty good its run by a mono alpine v12 amp. how do you guys keep your sub from bouncing around in the trunk tho. everytime i drive on the highway or older roads that are rough it bounces and moves around back there.

When all is said and done, it all comes down to personal preference in a persons music and how they want it to sound and what they are willing to trade off (box size/frequency response). The best box for sound is a bandpass (sealed sub firing into ported chamber) only they take up huge amounts of space and are hard to tune.

For mounting your box my best suggestion is to bolt it to the floor! If you have your sub near any interior structural sheet metal, just use some duct strapping and screw it to the box and metal support.
