It is verrrrrry interesting that he would be in Abbottabad. I have visited and lived in that very town for a few years, while undergoing military training. It is an Army town, pretty much a military garrison-infested township. And it is far far away from the Pak-Afghan border - actually in the north-east of Pakistan rather than north-west, where Afghanistan's Al-Qaeda stronghold is.
I am very surprised he was in Abbottabad. Maybe he was hiding in the presidential palace of Pakistan's president in the 60's, General Ayub Khan. That palace is a lone building on a moutain top right outside of Abbottabad, and there is only ONE access to that building. Quite a remarkable piece of real estate in one of the more beautiful parts of the country.
All I can say is GOOD RIDDANCE!!(O||O___SKYLINE___O||O)
