They only started last year, the plate comes with a 50$ surcharge but it's worth it. It looks the same except there's a thick red bar at the bottom. The front plate sticker goes on the windshield, near the inspection sticker.

but like any smart driver in toronto , when i get a ticket for something small and stupid liek my exhaust, front plate, lights or w/e i just take the ticket to fight it and it just gets weeded out with the thousands of other small stupid tickets that that processed every day . end result = no ticket , no front plate and maybe im five minutes late to where ever i need to go. but thats cause i dont care. i can see why people might not want to deal with the hassle. i just dont get bothered by thoes kind of things. but front plates, now thoes i cant stand. lol
