  • Tomei Counterfeit Warning

Please be aware of Tomei counterfeit sellers.
Here is one of the latest:

    ------------------------------------

    BMR Imports eBay Store http://stores.ebay.co.uk/BMR-IMPORTS...id=p4340.l2563

The signs of a fake Tomei Fuel Pressure Regulator
    - Price listed under $108.00 USD for the Fuel Pressure Regulator alone.
    - Free Pressure gauge offered
    - Free shipping
    - Sellers Location (Singapore, Malaysia and any Asian countries in that region are a good sign of a fake item source) But recently eBay sellers in the UK, the USA & Australia are buying from those sellers and relisting on ebay in other countries.

DO NOT TRUST the images used on the listing, as sellers often use our images (which are readily available for download off our website) and they send the fake item out.

If you have accidentially purchased a fake fuel pressure regulator, DO NOT USE it on your engine. You save a little, but then destroy your engine, which is worse?

    WHAT TO DO
    - Request for an immediate refund to the seller,
    - make a claim to eBay
    - make a claim to Paypal (if you had used paypal to pay for the item)

    ---------------------------------------

    Sad to see.

I knew they made knockoffs, but it's a new low to use the genuine for ad pic and send the fake out.

Dealextreme has good prices on things... but they all break after about a week and a half. Only thing I've ever bought from them that's decent is batteries.

This is why i'd rather buy parts from Daryl and have him look me in the eye as he hands them over , i pay a bit more but i know it's genuine stuff

Easy to scam someone you don't have to stand in front of !

That's for sure, it's easy to do anything over the internet when it's so impersonal. Especially when you are not even in the same country.
In terms of Tomei, we deal directly with them, so there is no chance of fake products. So no matter who you buy from, just make sure they are authorized to be selling Tomei products to ensure that you get authentic items.

And the fact that you are twice as tall as me and could crush me to a pulp in minutes helps as well

Actually Daryl I have always found you very intimidating , it's the small ones you have to worry about

I do however try and avoid looking Mike in the Eye , he's like Medusa except instead of turning to stone , I'm afraid he'll have me buying that blue Evo or that red hairdressers car thats in your showroom

You can tell it's not real HKS stuff , it has English on the boxes

Everyone knows that HKS only prints in Japanese ..

what do you mean WTF ?

Every tuner knows 91 octane fuel is basically a quasi-ferrous compound that can be magnetized to produce ionized particle accererated atomic streams through the injectors . (kinda like vtec).

I bet I've spent over a grand at DX in the last 12 months. I've had an issue with only one thing, which they replaced immediately. I probably own 500 watts of LED's by this point. :P

(note: i have never bought HKS stuff from them, just LED's and flashlight crap, phone chargers, etc)
