  • Got a job in edmonton

So, i was offered a job in edmonton. I was wondering if there are any great tuning shops around. Also what is the track situation you have in edmonton? I'm just wondering if i should pack up my gtr as it is in multiple pieces right now. Or should i just drive my audi out there as it is a fast car (I'm doing a clutch, flywheel and 6 speed swap before I go). Also what is the situation with renting. Ideally I would love to rent a garage to store my toys. I'm thinking of bringing my mustang but I'm not really sure. (It never sees rain or snow and is stored in a garage all winter long) Right now i think i will leave my gtr at my home / shop as it seems like i dont have enough time to get it together.

    Thanks.

Edmonton's got a few tuning shops (I've been happy with Silverstone Motorsports for mechanical work) and is only an hour and a bit away from Red Deer (Lightspeed Innovations - My tuner of choice).
Track situation is currently limited to Stratotech (cart and bike track that's still lot's of fun with cars). Motorsports forum for the group I run with is www.straightpipe.ca . Castrol has had a (very good) dragstrip for years and has recently announced a road course that I've heard should be open in fall 2011. We'll see!

Speaking of your car Dan, I saw it at lightspeed, looks quite a few pounds lighter on the front suspension, everything alright?
      No build thread.

Dan is getting a new engine, cracked block. My blue Bee Racing GTR is also there, getting the engine pulled and head checked. A few broken/lose bolts on my cam caps...

DMax I think, but thought it was a GTR hood. Someone else asked... I'll search.
