I hate to be negative but I lost interest when he switched to a Fiesta. I'm still a fan of the first two that weren't a huge DC commercial and were compleatly about the driving, but I'm probably just jealous, its still amazing car control but not as good as the others IMO.
    I drive a Honda...

I agree completely, This one wasn't even about the driving...the smallest part of the video was the driving. I even liked the first video he put out with the fiesta, because that one was all about his skill and the skill of that car. However nothing will come close to the awesomeness that was the subaru gymkhana's

I personally think he's a sell out now.

That, and when he whacked into the ladder and dude jumped off just in time. That was pretty sick.

Also, that chick walking down the road past ladder dude. You see her at the very end. She was hawt

I wouldn't necessarily call it a sellout...he was one of the two founders of DC back in the 90s. Hes just representing his brand on a level that teenagers find incredibly interesting.

I'd take this Fiesta over the other one(something about this stance/wheel setup looks 'doper'), but by far the coolest car hes driven has been the Gymkhana 1

i agree with oakville, teens (mind you i am one lol) are more about the in your face effect, going through walls, monkeys on segways and all that jazz. now im more into the driving part thats why gymkhana 1 and 2 are my fav's hands down. now the car i still wish he kept the first car, it was so damn nice!

Definitely agree on the car and first two vid's. My guess is Ford is giving more support and paying more money to have their cars used...

^ they are, ALOT more. i read on ether 0-60 or someone site when he switched to the ford, the only reason was they were willing to pay/give more support to him, thats why he changed cars

Well, Block is a driver in WRC. He drove for Subaru and back in '08, a combination of big changes to WRC rules and regs and other factors, a few big teams pulled out.

taken from Subaru: "Subaru announced it was withdrawing its team from competition, with immediate effect, on 16 December 2008. At the time, it said that "this sudden decision was in response to the widespread economic downturn that is affecting the entire automotive industry", and came one day after competitor Suzuki exited the sport."

He needed a new team to run with in WRC, and Ford stepped up. For his own personal Gymk stuff, yes I assume Ford dished out the big bucks to swap to the Fiesta over the Impreza.

Ken Block also crashes a lot in WRC, and sucks.

                        A lot.

And for the Gymk stuff... the minute he was sponsored by Ford, there is no way he would have used a subie for the Gymk stuff. That would be retartedly stupid.

I too love the first and second better, a little bit because of the subbi.

But I think that it's also has to do with what we think off Ford, we never got the escort cosworth this side of the pond. The media have a huge impact on the way we think and what we expect outta off some things, and most people don't see his new car has a nice rally car, they see it has a FORD rally car. And I think it's got a lot to do with just getting use to that image. Off course it's big marketing, and I don't think they care if he is good or not, they want to profit from is notoriety that's all. They want there product to be what you think of when you think of DC. And let face it, when Gymkhana first got out, the first thing you though about when you tough about DC was subaru.

But I do agree that marketing in the newer vid feels like it's being basically trowed in your face, and the the very choreograph feel to it really annoys me.

lol that fiesta is sick. Most likely quicker than most skyline's on this site. Sick. Don't care if it's a hundai or ford, fast is fast.
