    • Dreams are funny things. I drove an R35 GTR and an LP700 Avantador on the track in Vegas last week. (Exotics Racing - good bunch!) The R35 was substantially less capable than my R32, but that's a modded vs stock comparison and must be discounted as such. The Lambo was fun to drive, and was savagely fast.

I've long wondered if a very capable and refined supercar would be more or less fun to drive than a slightly less capable and waaayyy less refined one. (Think LP700 vs modded R32 GTR) For me, the thrill of driving the Avantador was huge, but I honestly think I'd have more fun in a track season with my Skyline.

So I'm with Neal - driving the dream!

A new M5 would be fun too!

      • I'd take my R32 over any super car in the world, partly because it will spank most of them and mostly because I can actually own it.

The only thing I could replace it with (if I had to choose) would be a 1955 Chevy post car done up like a "2 Lane Blacktop" clone with a small block packing twins pushing over 1000hp. And, ofcourse, a Lenco backing it up.

        Jon.
Why don't you come over to MySpace and Twitter my Yahoo untill I Google all over your Facebook.

For this cowboy, on the track, less computer intervention and more connection with the driving experience is more fun!

I have often wondered if this was really true, but lacked the confidence to say it until now.

I see your '55 and raise you a '41 Willys with a 392 Hemi, velocity stack Enderly fuel injection, in primer grey too of course. Somewhat modeled after the car in the '70s movie HotRod.
