  • Stolen Acura NSX has been recovered...

    ...in pieces

Taken from the Magnus Facebook page

"The NSX that was Stolen from our shop 2 months ago has been found chopped to pieces, in a Home Garage about 2km from our shop. RUCKUS MOTORSPORTS and their associates have been arrested by the Police. They operate a shop about 6kms from our location. I have absolutely no remorse for what will happen to these individuals who committed this crime. One minute they are your buddies, next minute they are stealing your car and cutting it to pieces to probably to fund their failed attempt at a drag racing hobby. What does this say about our hobby and profession, when people can steal something that someone has poured their hard work and soul into for their own greed. Has your car been stolen? I'd check with them. Please share this with with everyone you know"

Glad that they caught them, sad that the car is in pieces. Disassembled or physically cut up? Swine.

Ugh, how could they do that to such a rare piece of automotive art.

Glad they got caught, hope they get what they deserve.

Been a good season this year, not as good as the Trinity season IMO

They won't get a slap on the wrist. A good $10k in lawyer fees minimum plus many restrictions/conditions to abide by

Does anyone know which police service made the arrest?
              Toronto or York?

While I'm all for justice where justice is due, at this point this is the only information that has been disclosed...

I feel terribly sorry for the owner of the NSX's loss, however as a shop in the business this looked rather unprofessional on Magnus' part to slander a shop's name until further information is released. Simply saying "they did it" on Facebook does not instantly make Rukus Motorsports guilty. I'm sure it was out of anger, but we do live in Canada where our Charter of Rights and Freedoms states we're all innocent until proven guilty. Until then, I don't think it's fair for us to throw accusations based on a Facebook post by the victim.

If the outcome of this trial is that they are guilty I'll have no sympathy for these people, but until then my position on this topic stays neutral.

Trial? Lol, yeah... it's going to make it allll the way to a trial. Was the NSX found in the dudes garage? That's enough proof for me.

It's funny you say those exact words. I lived in student residence my first year of college, and a girl on my floor called the police on night and said a guy on the floor above us raped her. Everyone in residence believed her and said "there's videotape proof of him going into her room the night it happened, that's enough proof for me".

Is there really ever enough proof? The guy fought for his life. Went to trial and turns out they found his cell phone with text message history of them two planning out to hook up at a party. He was innocent.

You may not get the comparison I'm trying to show, and that's fine. This situation is a lot different than a girl making a false rape call, but the purpose of that is to show there's barely any info or proof other than the NSX owner's Facebook post. If Rukus is indeed found to be the culprits, I'd also like to know who worked with them to secure the car, as two guys probably didn't do it alone.

Makes sense to be so close. That's probably why they didn't get caught earlier. If you have to travel a long distance without a enclosed trailer with a stolen car all I have to say is good luck. And not many people especially thieves don't have the luxury of that. These types of people are pieces of shiiiit though!!!!
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

This is sad and disturbing. Hope they get what they deserve.
