How did i miss this thread? Haha. I quit PASMAG like 2 years ago. I'm at AOL running Autoblog Canada now and without all those tech article deadlines have been slacking on the GT-R. It last made 480whp w/ 401 lb-ft but motor wasn't feelin' it and tune ran like a bag of ass with too many unsolved problems.
The new job is busy and gets me in lots of exotic cars to test on race tracks, so I get my fic with McLarens, 991s and M6s (all in the last month). I totally forget the GT-R is in storage all the time.
But currently building a 2.7L with all Tomei and Nismo guts. It's being assembled right now and if people do their jobs, are competent and deliver on promises will be operational by July.
And 'A18' is right... no hardparking here, the last thing I need is a tire at 240+km/h on the backstraight at Mosport. Running 275/35R18 on all four corners means business and race tracks need suspension travel - so keep your stanced out, tucked, dragging on ground cars for Tim Hortons parking lot.
PS: ...and that was the plan to get an R34 for the street - keep the 32 for the track.
