always liked the 850i, most beemers look too much the same but this one stands out. does j-spec mean right hand drive?

Nope left hand drive. It definitely stands out. Very few with this colour combination. One of only 13 I think. Doubt any went for the MK package.

Does it have an oil leak?

No leaks. The manual sure would be nice, but not sure I would want it for this car. Too many luxury features. I just don't drive it enough, so it needs to go to a good home.
