Totally agree. The problem is that you have people on the Facebook group that never originally used the forum, that don't actually own a skyline, that aren't Canadian (not that I'm against that, but there are a few pretty ignorant people who post anti-canadian comments), and usually any thread becomes a **** swinging contest.

I agree the Facebook page is kind of a joke, people on there that don't use the forum and take there trolling from previous Facebook pages and bring it to GTRCanadas page which was once pretty straight to the point and useful. Since the Facebook page came I believe the forum it's self has slowed down. I think they should delete the Facebook page and things will pick up on the site again except people won't make an account or login just to troll a post which would minimize the trolling. Or at least make the page buying and selling only as most questions asked on the page have already been answered a hundred times on the forum.

Yea, I was quite happy before the Facebook page, they should have a better monitoring of the post. I find ALL car pages on Facebook are just horrible to look at, someone's always got a stick up their *** about something. And any decent questions either get buried quickly before anyone has a chance to see it. Or gets pooped on by people who have no idea what they are talking about. 😥 so frustrating. I really wish there was more discussions here.

The new Generation of Kids dont know how to use Forums, all they know about the internet is Facebook, youtube, Instgram, etc. Their ADD wont allow them to browse through forum posts. it takes to long.. lol.

i had posted before on here about modifying this forum to allow for a live chat box similar to mazdaspeedforums.org, it was the best forum ive used yet, mostly because of that. I would be on that all day, people would come in to talk and/or ask questions, plus it generates money for the site, because if you dont buy a 1 year membership for like 9.99, they only show up as a guest on the chat. check out the other site and see what i mean. venders are usually on there all day too which is awesome!

Facebook group is way more active, but then a lot of the comments degrade into garbage pretty quickly.

I have a live chat on the import site that i run.

People do like the live chat.

Admins you should do a test on this site.

live chat is the best, as long as it moderated properly. plus like i said, its a great way to generate revenue for this site, cuz u sell memberships cheap. on mazdaspeed forums, if you donate the minimum $10 your name is green, over $25 its yellow, and more than $50 red or something, and its an annual thing, plus if ur a mod or admin your purple. Its a good way to know if the person answering questions is a noob or someone whos been around a while. I suggest using their style on that forum, cuz it works great.
