Greetings everyone,
I'm starting on a mini project with the Director of Marketing from Sailun Tires on a promotion project. Here is some information about the company:
Sailun is a Chinese manufacturing company and is also the first tire company to use social media such as facebook to market its products across North America. As a means to attack our market, they are actually getting involved into the grassroots to the car club community, guys like us, as a means of trying to change the perception of Chinese tires. Everyone knows Chinese Tires like Wanli, Nanking, Triangle, etc. are what they are, cheap and shitty. So Sailun is trying a different approach by not only having a solid product comparable to Hankook, Kumho, etc., but also through word of mouth spread the word about their product.
Basically in a nutshell, we are trying to organize a driver training day with a bunch of members from the GTR community and hope to get feedback on Sailun's products.
What Sailun willing offer:
A set of Sailun tires for the driver training day.
Mobile station to install the tires.
Food for the session.
An instructor for the driver training session.
Day at the track(Mosport or, Shannonville).
What Sailun wants in return:
Feedback about the product.
Your time.
Please tell me what you think guys. I will try and set dates for next year with a followed up post.
