Shortly after Skymeet 2011 in some thread that was locked before I could properly quote it, that's why the link to the reference is not there.

JZ will probably say he never said that and that's why he locked it!

EDIT: Found it! Link added to my sig.

How does everyone feel about CSCS @ Mosport DDT, July 15th?
Figure it would be nice because cars can be entered in show and shine, drifting, lapping, time attack, or just hanging around. Something for everyone.

Just an idea we're kicking around.

        Thoughts?

Justin makes a good point. That would be good! Only thing is, I'd say it would be tough only because of the amounts of people there that may not share our same views for a quiet, peaceful, and respectful meet.

I don't see how an organized track event with all of us in our own little section wouldn't be peaceful?

But yes, it would be a little louder than a parking lot.

Oh if we were able to grab our own section We'd be fine. I thought you were saying just meeting there, and us being side by side with everyone else.

If we have enough people I'm sure I can arrange that we have our own little GTRCanada Corral.

                    Thumbs up lets do it!

We'll also have to talk to Daryl and Matty, as I know they are planning on hosting.

Plenty of time to change plans! :P

This is just one idea, and I have to discuss things with the organizers of CSCS to see what they can do to accommodate us.

I like that idea. The GTR should be track ready by then so I'd be down for time attack. Maybe the GTRC guys doing time attack can have a little friendly competition?

Let's not mix it up with CSCS its already a busy place as it is. Let's book the Big Track as a group. It'll be a dream to do for most of us. Why not hire the IRL guys to give courses that day as well? See what it would cost to hire them for the day.

I would suggest that no one goes on the track without at least some basic tuition and signing off , would hate to see broken cars because some of us suddenly had a chance to track as a group with little to no prior experience. I know i'll be completing a course before i go on the track as i havnt been on the track for over 20 years and never in an awd . This might humble a few egos , but safety first , the track is a lot different from gunning it up the 403 for a few miles
