  • Tuners/gtr shops in gta?

I know out west they have autodream and lightspeed but who works on gtrs in ontario? I'm almost done all the main work(engine installation, car running) stuff on my car, then its time for allignment, safety, etest, roadworthy-ing stuff. After that its time to look at a small tune to get the car running just right(not so much for power, but reliability and getting that last bit of fuel efficiency, as well as power i suppose :P).

So who tunes gtrs in the GTA and what ECUs do they prefer?

I've had very positive experiences with RStuning. If you just want to keep it simple get nistune. Capable of everything you will need up to the point of a full-on build which is where a more powerful ECU would be better. Radek at Rstuning is usually pretty busy but if you manage to get in there he will take care of you. His shop is close to 400/hwy7

Cool cool. I don't plan on goin full on built but I want to get the car running as nice as possible. I was talking to the person I bought my shell from he suggested euro charged. He said I could stick to stock ecu and get it mapped if I just intend to stay essentially stock. I should probably talk to a tuner and see what my best options are. Ill look up rstuning

Magnus is also a good bet, and they have an AWD dyno as well.

            I'll look into them :P.
I'm not quite at that stage yet, my waterpump just came in.
Then its time for allignment, safety and etest then finally either tune or paint. Gotta decide which i wanna do first.

Would you guys suggest running the car with the stock map on my ecu for a bit? The engine has been sitting in my garage for 6 months un-run and was in the front clip i bought for i don't know how long prior to that.
I didn't do a full rebuild, just pulled valve covers/oilpump/waterpump/oilpan and cleaned everything nice, rebuild turbos/replaced timing etc. so its not like new internals.
