Long time no post; Ontario insurance question not regarding RHD

Hey GTRCanadians, it's been a while. I recently moved to Ontario (Sioux Lookout, yeah I know... ) for work and have my car from BC with me. All the insurance threads here are for RHD cars, and this is just my shitty Mazda Protege5. What are the cheapest/best insurers and easiest to deal with for regular cars in NW Ontario? Car is a 2003, I'm 27... no real accident history etc.

Secondly, I imagine I need to have an inspection done on the car in order to register and insure it here in Ontario?

bellaire or primmus have been cheapest in my hunts, bellaire beating everyone by alot and then offering their automerrit thing ontop. Statefarm if you want ot insure a rhd.

You need a safety and emissions test to plate a car in ontario
