Saw a black r32 with an FMIC and carbon hood and trunk lowered on silver rims yesterday, you were on the perimeter crossing lag around 8pm I think wearing a red sweater. That anyone here? Car was looking pretty sexy.

That was me thanks! i was out testing my cluster. My Gf was behind me in her civic. I needed to recalibrate the speedo after taking off the needles and swapping the cluster faces. found the sweet spot, and i was bang on with her civic at 82, and 90

No CF trunk, just spoilerless.

You keep claiming all this money that making it dot cost you. and im not saying it's not a bitch to deal with, but your "fatherly" comments are starting to get annoying.

Headlights - Check (ready to go in)
Tailights - Check (ready to go in)
Sidemarkers - doesn't take much to install
Seat belts - Check (ready to go in)
Reverse lights/ third brake light (again not hard to swap)

only thing i would need help on is borrowing some coilovers. and doing exhaust but even then, Weld a high flow cat on, and bolt a muffler on just for the safety.

Apart from coilovers (unless you can get them at the price travis did) your looking at maybe 1000 for parts and labour. and most of that is on the exhaust work.

Headlights check? Don't forget about fabbing up brackets, aligning them to spec, wiring, drls.. All that takes time. Time is tight when you got a deadline and work full time.
Taillights? I only know of one type of taillights made for the R32 that have a sae/dot marking on them. 240 bones. Plus shipping time.. I hope you got those because the guys at MPI will laugh at you when they see your princess auto trailer lenses siliconed to your taillights. You'll fail.. Then you'll have to set up an appointment for another wasted work day.
Seatbelts? If you found some cheap working ones.. then good for you. If they match your interior.. Then "Damn son, where'd you pick those up?"
Reverse lights/third brake light? Hard to find some that will look good and be sae/dot without paying closer to the expensive side. Probably will wait on shipping as well.
Coilovers? Yeah no one is going to let you borrow their suspension. If anyone would then that's great.. but they will have to get an alignment done when they put theirs back in.. No ones down for that. Also Travis waited weeks for this coilovers.
Did you consider under body maintenance that you will possibly need to fix? Leaks, loose parts, worn tie rods and bushings, rust, etc. Could all be time consuming.. or expensive it you take it to a shop. No doubt your 19 year old car will dip into these problems.
Exhaust? Yeah its easy to just weld this on.. and bolt that on.. But with exhaust (and along with everything else listed above) if you plan on tearing it all out after you pass MPI inspections then Good luck with not getting pulled over again. Its not a matter of IF it will happen its a matter of WHEN. And who knows if you run into a d*ck cop who decides to yank you outta your car and beat on you just for driving a RHD with illegal mods.. You know my story Anthony.

So instead of spending a grand for all these temporary parts for inspections.. why not spend 2 grand to make everything fully DOT without looking like junk and be done with it? And I don't think telling everyone on GTRC and Facebook to just drive their cars without worrying about getting pulled over is a good idea. I'd stop.

My "fatherly comments" are the only thing that can sway you into changing your ignorant mind set. I'm not trying to ream you out. I'm trying to help you and open your eyes a bit here. Winnipeg is by far the worst for this kind of stuff and with VIU out everyday its something you should take seriously. I want to see skylines on the road. I wouldn't write all this out for you if I didn't give a ****.

I passed Coach on portage last night...he was heading eastbound, well I'm pretty sure that was his white gtr, may not have been.

And I met Adam (bnsportsr33) at Kenaston for a brief second before he took off.

Nope, Going to wait till the weather gets a bit nicer, cause i have to go to a wheel shop and swap some of the tires i have now onto the new rims. But I'll have them on for the May 7th Meet (remember it's my birthday guys! haha)...Got my coolant catch tank in today,and next step is a horn so i can finally go for safety.

I'm debating starting a build thread but i dunno...eddie, you and your bro should come out even though it's his birthday too! just move the celebration to the evening, thats what we are doing!

But my brother probably won't be able to come because he'll be setting everything up that day. shittyness that the date had to be moved, or else we both would have shown up.

hey guys, so today i called Walls rods and custom to ask them how familiar they were with skyline gtrs. My response was "we do not deal with import cars". So whats up with that lol?? And thaaan I called Motion to see what they had to say. I said hi there how familiar are you with rb26's? My response was "Whats an rb26". I told him nissan skyline blah blah blah, and he said they dont know anything about them haha! I kinda thought they atleast knew what the motor was! I am kinda disappointed, now i have to goto alberta to get a tune

a) thats comeplete ******** because im pretty sure both places have done skylines before. and Walls has def done it's fair share of imports
b) don't need to go to alberta...Minni has an awd dyno thats 8 hours rather than 12 (from brandon 14 from winnipeg) to alberta. I know of a ralliart in the city for sure that went to them.

its not bull ****, at Rods customs i left a message about a 89 skyline gtr rb26 , and the guy called me back said we dont work on imports. My buddy is taking his 2jz supra there to get tuned in june so he is going to call this guy sometime within the week to talk to him about whats up. Looks like im gonna end up traveling to alberta... fuckin stupid maybe ill open up a decent tuner shop in manitoba enough of this v8 **** hahahah
