i was wondering where you guys insure your cars and how much it costs you.

I am still driving on temp permit but insure it at any insurance broker. I think it is approximately $1400 a year, with $2 mil liablity and $200 deductible with no merits.

I'm jealous of MPI's rates. I remember when I was living there paying $50 a month for my old beat up truck full coverage.

MPI makes up for the good rates on cars by raping motorcycle drivers..... I have a BMW k1200s and my rate with the max good driver discount available, full coverage is approx $2500. In Alberta it would be a fraction of that. Got a quote from Primmun Insurance 2 or 3 years ago when I was contemplating a move to Calgary for under $600.
