  • looking for a cherry picker

Anyone have one in the valley that I would be able to use for a few days?

Also looking for a stand, but I'm most likely just going to buy one... but borrowing it always better (should be on the stand for about a month)

      yes, a month.

I just want to take it out to deal with the front/rear mains seals, re-seal the oil pan and clean the block up and the engine bay with the engine out.

      it's not getting rebuilt.

if you were near edmonton, id probably just give you the picker and the stand since i havent used them in years

seems like nobody really likes to bite the bullet and buy a picker though cause 'you only need it a few times'. cant blame them though, i had one hell of a time pulling a motor out without a picker from my accord.
whats going to power my skyline come spring?

well, either I find a picker to use... or I'm going to manhandle it out after I convince Zulu to lend some muscle... :-D

It's only a rotary anyways... they're light ish. And it's fully stripped.

It's just always nice to things the easy way. work smart, not hard!

apparently the guys on rx7club.com said not to. it's too heavy?... it is iron afterall. anyways I would rather be safe and do it properly

on a side note, I've found what I need... thanks!

they maye be small but rotor engines arnt exactly light. there is alot of iron in those things. lifting with two people is still a serious struggle i never want to do again.
