  • would love some help with drivetrain fluid change

so unless it's simpler than i think cause i have never personally done one but i need my tranny and diff fluid changed in my r33 and dont want to pay like 100 to get it done.

i recently lost the place where i could hoist the car up so i was wondering if there was anyone in the lower mainland who could help me out with this.

a case of beer could possibly be provided

    thx -will

it is very easy. drain and fill plugs on the tranny. open the fill first (to make sure you can get it off), then drain the fluid. Canadian Tire sells a little tool like a turkey baster for oil to insert the new oil into the tranny. Fill it until it comes out of the fill hole and thats it. All of this can be done on jack stands and under half an hour.

Bah, Skylines Australia seems to be down right now, but there's tons of good info in their FAQ / Tutorials section.

I had this one bookmarked from a couple months ago, but since it's down right now i can't check it to see if it's good / the right one.

That is good advice, I almost had a bad day when I changed the t-case fluid in my truck

Also helps to get the fluid out quicker, not really a problem with rb's since there isn't a ton of fluid but larger transmissions it sure helps.
