  • Where to get head work done

I'm starting up a new build for someone else. A 1.6L Miata with ITB's (hopefully, if he opts to go with them ).

The 1.6L head is very restrictive and will be counterproductive of the cams that will be going in.

Where can I get some head work done locally for a good price? Not looking for something major, just cleaning up the runners and a valve job.

    what we're after...

Oh Crap....are you sure that's what you want ?

That Miata is running a set of Rota Wheels and a Mishimoto Radiator

... I know I saw that. I'm going after the engine.

I'm going to brand whore it out with Panasport wheels and a fluidyne rad.

You could give Percision a call and see what they can do for you, they have some nice high end machines in their shop and have a great rep for high performance work

Hey Falcon you should speak with Andy Pearson at Specialty Engineering they just moved from New West to a new shop in Delta. Andy is a genius and has extensive experience with Miata motors he built and preps a very fast turbo
Miata race car I think he spent two weeks on that head getting it just the way he wanted it. He does lots of work on our race car and builds our engines. He is not inexpensive but he is in my opinion one of the best. He also has tons of experience with ITB's and built 2 SCCA GT3 240sx's with numerous wins and championships. He even has an engine dyno if thats in your budget.
