why is it that anytime you need to sell a part you either need to take a picture of every possible angle and a detailed list of every damn nick and scratch on a stupid part like a sway bar ect? Or for when you need to ship a part and its in your priovince and they want a quote on shipping by canada post.... Like a $90 part and they want you to box it up and go to the post office to get a quote before they even tell you that they will buy it. Buyers shouldnt expect such bull shi%. Like common.... Like I am going to take an hour out of my time to do all that **** and thats if im rushing on a part that I can make more money in a hr than the parts worth.

People need to grab a brain and have some conmmon sence. Be reasonable for god sake.

Ive been dealing with tards like this for too long. a sway bar is a sway bar, a gtst wheen is a gtst wheel, an rb20 is an rb20 ect. If you expect to pay used parts price dont expect that person to have it in brand new condition like out of some show room.

ha, i hope not, but i can empathize with what he's saying. Anyone who's had to sell alot of parts can too i'm sure. I don't know how some ppl were able to afford their car in the first place.

i solved this problem easily. i went to value village and got a scale. cost me $2.99
i then boxed the part, weighed it, and went online to dhl, purolator, canada post, and fedex and got quotes. this whole process took me maybe 5 min per part. quotes almost always shoot high (parted out an entire car and only got shorted once on shipping, it was for less than a dollar). i was then able to give a shipped price with eta for shipping.

And in some cases I do expect the buyer to buy blindly when they are asking for a starter or an alt. They all look the same. Maybe ive just been through this too much as am getting tired of it is all.

Good idea on the scale. I used to do that back in the day. Might just have to do that again.

I just get mad at life sometimes but it does suck nut sack sometimes with some buyes.

Meh... it's not like it takes that long to do, and the scale idea is key. I've had nothing but good experiences, even when selling parts I've gotten rough quotes and told them. When I shipped and it was $10 more, I mentioned it to the buyers, said "No pressure, but if you wouldn't mind throwing me another $10 that would be killer." Next thing you know there's another 10 bucks in my paypal.

Buyers are (in my experiences) often more understanding than they let on to be. If you bend over backwards for them, they're more likely to help you out when something goes wrong versus "You want pictures? Go **** yourself. An alternator is an alternator." People want to see what they buy, especially on the internet when so many people get ripped off. I've got a 700hp RB30DET sitting in my garage. Have a build list to prove it, even some dyno sheets. But no pictures. I'll let it go for $1,000... you in?
