        I'm always in attendance.
If things go my way for once I wont have a skyline there this year, if not, there'll be a 4dr in the car show.

big car club cruise planned for sunday afternoon/evening after knox ends.

Drove the course yesterday. Speedbumps, pedestrians, and cyclists made it a sedate affair, but the driving notes on the web site made it come alive.

          This'll be a good one!

I dont know if I could live in my car all the way there and back. I get horrible lower back pain if i drive my gtst for more than an hour at a time. I blame the terrible seats and lack of head room with a sun roof

Might come check it out since I'll be in Osoyoos for the weekend anyways, so if we run short of things to do, we shall head over.

Won't be in the Skyline though, gonna have to come out in a QX4 (yay sluggish gas guzzler).

First day at Knox and I am the first in a Skyline to tackle the Mountain.

Super cautious on my first run and I put up 2:21:655. Way slower than I thought I would be. I figured I would be dead last but not even close to last and even further away from first. There are around 35 in my run group and about 70 total. I am in the first group.

If you can do the Mtn in under 2min you are considered very fast.

Second Run was wet. I pull the straights faster but even slower in the corners, because of the wet and someone crashing before my turn. My time is 2:22:257.

Third time out and three cars in the second run group have thrown down some sub 2min times, so I know its dry. I let the beast off its chain and put down a respectable 2:07:201, which is good enough to put me 10th in my run group. Hope there is a trophy for most improved time.: )

I classed myself in SPX, but if I get any faster I am sure there will be some contesting of me being in SP because I am JDM (lame) I should be in SP4 but it is very competitive and I know someone would pull the JDM card on me. JDM even if you are stock are supposed to be GT, which means alot more prep and I ran out of time and money.

Glad to see and meet some fellow GTRCer's there.

Awesome second day. Weather cooperated and lots of records were broken.

First run of the day 2 was 2:08:528
                            Second was 2:06:344
Third and Final run of the event was 2:03:615

So I manage to beat the target I had set for myself which was 2:05.

I am shooting for 2min next year.

Nice chatting with you John. Thanks for the moral support from you and the other GTRC members I talked to.

Almost forgot to mention I came in 2nd in my class which turned out to be SPX-3

First day for me in the turbo Miata.

                              10PSI
                              Run 1 2:15
                              Run 2 2:25 (wet)
                              Run 3 2:14 (slipping clutch)

                              Day 2
2:14 (7PSI) to try to get rid of the clutch issue
Then I realized I needed to adjust the free play in my clutch and fixed the slippage... back to 10PSI
                              2:10 (10PSI)
                              2:08 (10PSI)

Pretty happy overall. Can't wait to get some real tires for next year and try for 2:00. 9 year old, nearly bald Advan A032R's are no fun to drive on.

                              Looking forward to the pics!
