I was just wondering what kind of headlights do you guys have installed in your skylines? those ones in the pics.

the stock projectors... but Neptune has N1 lights

I was thinking about swapping back to stock projectors but I'm worried about getting dinged by cops for non-DOT headlamps. Has that ever happened to you?

if you get pulled over by the cops, you have more to be worried about then just swapping back to accord lights.

I've been pulled over and not ticketed for anything. They did check my DOT stamps front and back and everything else they could think of and found nothing. I just don't want to have to deal with a ticket for oem lights, because they look way better.

what do you have for rear dot stamps then on dot tail lights? did you replace the lenses?

For all the guys who have gotten 'dinged' by cops.. did it happen on a Sunday? Or a regular day of the week and during a "speeding confrontation" or something? Like you getting pulled over for speeding and then the cop mentions your non-dot lights..

I'm pretty sure they'll do it whenever, my buddy got pulled over in his turbo 1.6am with skunk2 coilovers on it and the cop pulled him over for slowing down going over a bump in the road. The cop threatened him and said it looks like u have little suspension travel I could do a road side VI if I want to but he didn't luckily (it was downpouring maybe that influenced the cops decision).

nismo_line, yea my lens are different, I got DOT stamped ones screwed over the stocker lens. And the only time I got pulled over in my skyline was during the week, mid-day, and due to the fact I hadn't installed my plates yet and the fuse for my brake lights blew. After he pointed that out and inspected my vehicle on the side of the road, I checked my fuses, replaced the blown one, and then showed him the functional lights with the blown fuse and then he let me off with just a warning.

just wondering if Saturday is still a go and its kinda funny cause when i got my skyline safetied this pass winter all i needed was cv boots they said nothing about the lights

Nice pics. but it's pretty sad looking at the owners of these cars are fat white guys that look like creeps/pedos. It's like they bought these cars to pick up girls...and still can't. No offense.

where do you see a fat white guy in the pics? Also just because someone is standing beside a car in a pic doesnt mean they own it.
