yea but at the same time your car is insured for the market value which does not take into account excessive mods. Im pretty sure if you have 20+k in mods like some of us they wont cover them unless you have your car reapprasied is my understanding. if someone else can shed some light on this? congrats on getting your car back btw!

Car was found in Surrey! Surrey RCMP called me and let me know they recovered it and have 2 people in custody. Pretty stoked to know I'll have the car back so quickly.

Does anyone know if for damages is my car inspected by an ICBC person or can I designate the shop I want to inspect it? If they drove the crap out of it I'd like someone who knows the cars to evaluate what is/might be wrong and who will be doing the repairs more than a random shop ICBC decides on.


also @dah: I had most of my receipts I just can't find a couple, not even sure where they could be honestly since I've moved 5 times in less than 2 years. This actually caused me to get them all in one spot now though so if anything happens again I'll have it all ready to go!
