Thanks for all that came out!

Well with Saturday come and gone, i must say i had a blast!

Met some new faces, saw some old faces and of course saw some really nice cars!
a friend of mine was taking a few photos with my cam, and some video of my passes that i'll post for everyone to see.

started off by getting the cars nice and clean!
        First a good wash

and follwed by a wipe down, and wax

We arrived at about 4pm, to get in line. They opened the gates at approx 4:30pm and we were in Tech by 4:45pm
        We've arrived

The day started with a tech inspection of our cars at mission raceway park i was assigned car number 120
Then after a weigh in (3390lbs with me inside & 1/2take of fuel) we positioned a few of our cars in the pits.

While we were waiting to race i took a couple neat shots with my lil Sony point and shoot:

Then the races began. Sorry to the rest but i only have video of my runs
Ive never launched/raced this car prior to this day. Not on the street or anything....
Ive never raced down a drag strip prior to this day, the only racing experience i had was road course.

First, My friends 04 STI & my 91 GTR had a go

i was pretty happy with these results as i have never raced before.
        12.2 @ 118 mph
My friends STI eventually broke mid 13's later in the night. He was running basically stock with an exhaust, intake, and mild tune.

This next race was a total facepalm moment on my part, Missed 2nd-3rd shift:

        Bah 13.02 next time!

Then there was a rare treat!!!!!
In the next two vids, the 09 GTR DID in fact beat my car...He beat me by 2/10Ths of a sec in both these races...
HOWEVER, later in the night we both raced in the same heat, not against each other, and he ran 2/10ths of a second SLOWER than i did!!!!
So i can say with all honesty that my car beat a 2009 Nissan GTR
He was consistently running mid 12's hovering around 110 mph, and i was around 116-118mph.
His car weighed in at 4600 lbs though lol!

BUT STILL, no one can take that away from me!

^ For some reason on the second run against the GTR, a time slip didn't print so i don't have one
but check out that reaction time!

So after playing with the GTR and talking with the owner we both congratulated each others times and shared our respects for each others amazing machines!

I ended with 2 more races, one against a random Nissan Altima, as i wasn't quick enough to grab a cool opponent in the lineup, and the last run of the night against my friends STI
He had been trying so hard all night to break 100mph, and finally did on his last run! This was a little extra rewarding as it just happened to be his 23rd birthday too! What a birthday present from the track gods for him!

^fastest 1/4 time of the night for me, but slower top speed than my first

        ^ Good job Wes!

All in all this was a good day!, No blowups! Beautiful weather!, and friendly faces. I couldnt have asked for a better way to spend my saturday.
Thank you very much to all the guys that came out to rep Skylines, GTR's, Imports, and of course the mothership GTRC!

I look forward to the next track day, as im hoping to break my times down into the 11's.

^Thats right my Girlfriend made a support shirt for me! It said GTR on the chest and "Skylines The Limit" on the back!

        Cheers!
Hope to see some more at the next meet!

PS, i just noticed the dates on all these slips are wrong! They should read may 19th not may 20th

nice times! gotta get the launch down. sucks power fc doesnt have any launch control. seems like your bogging a bit. 11s should be doable if you keep your 60" under 1.9ish

Those are some very respectable times. What do you have done to your car?
I've only done a couple of runs with a G-Teck meter and ran consistantly in the mid 12's with a PFC, Apexi boost controller set to 14.5 psi, exhaust and filters, and an OSG twin clutch.

It goes by classes in groups. So, sport compact, domestic, outlaw(drag slicks) and bikes. I needed up with 6 passes in a 5 hour window. Pretty good for $35 in my eyes. If its much busier then I can see getting less runs in. The time flew by and it felt like I had just enough time to compare our slips and drink a bottle of water and I was heading back to the lineup for another run.

                  Thanks for the kind words!
My YouTube vids have a brief description of my build.
I was bogging pretty hard off the line, Ive gotta figure out how to launch and Im pretty sure I'll break 11's.

Its 35 bucks for the night and how many passes you get depends on how early you get there and how crowded it is also how long the dew holds off the track. basically your guaranteed 3 passes if you dont get the opportunity to make 3 passes you can get a free pass for next time. on a average night you should expect 3-5 passes but on some nights if not many people show up you can get 10+ passes even though i wouldnt run my car 10 times one night
