Having some good times with changing oil.

So I get my 1990 GTR, I decide to change the oil, go to Ericksen Nissan (Downtown Edmonton) and ask for an oil filter. They give me one saying they've used this filter (Part #: 15208-55Y00) on Skylines with no problems, so I take two. I go to change the oil and I can't get the old filter off. Since I've allready drained the old oil I pour in 4.4 liters of new Mobil 1 10-30 synthetic. No problems. Oil stays in just fine. Two weeks later (today) I take my skyline in to Lube City and get them to change the oil for me. New filter's on, 4.4 liters of Mobil 1 10-30, dipstick says full. I drive across town, check oil and it's fine, drive it back home and check, fine again. Check three hours later and it reads bone ******* dry. There's only a few drops under the car, but it seems to be the old oil. Add about half a liter that I had kicking around, wait an hour, still bone dry.

        HELP!

So they repo'ed your oil because the credit card bounced? Did you pull the plastic shield off the bottom of the car and have a look? I doubt it could hold 4 liters, but ??? Has to have gone somewhere.

A picture would help. Is it right beside the radiator? Only thing I can think of is the charcoal canister.
