not sure if this has ever been done or has even been thought of lol. but.... what about having one of those butterfly valves that allows you to flip a switch inside your car and closes of either your screamer pipe or your normal dump pipe that runs back into your exhaust.

for example. you can have the normal dump pipe open and it sounds like it does with no screamer pipe ( in case you get annoyed with the screamer or something for some reason ). but you can flip the switch and it opens the screamer pipe part and closes off the normal dump pipe so that every time your on it in boost it uses the screamer instead...

i dunno. i just think it would be cool. i certainly would be interested in buying one/ making one.

I'm doing something like that. I'm going to plumb the wastegate back into the 3.5" down pipe then expand it to 4" right at the junction. No resinators or mufflers, 4" all the way out the back. Where the rear muffler should be I am going to put a 4" butterfly valve in the pipe and run a 2" by-pass around it with a small glass-pack to take some of the drone out of it. When I want to be quiet, close the valve, all the exhaust goes through the little 2" glass-pack. When I want to rotate the earth, open her up and have 4" exhaust with no muffling other than the turbo itself........nice.
