  • Grill mounting question

I'm going to order a temporary front grill for my r32 to cover the big open space. it's just a used, plain slotted grill. does the grill mount with bolts or clips or something else that you need to have in addition to the grill itself? or does the grill have a part that clips into the side of the headlights that is an actual part of the grill? sorry if that's confusing, im just unsure what parts are needed. here's a link to the grill i want to buy. thanks guys!

I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

If you have projector lens it will just be clipping on the side of each headlights.

If non projector, ie N1 you will need the N1 brackets..

the stock grille uses clips, although you would be able to use bolts if need be.

i've got the 2 slots on each headlight where a grill can mount, so is the clip an actual part of the grill?

The clips are not part of the grill. You can get them from Nissan. I just Ziptied the grill, worked great.

We sell the clips, however if you are buying a used grill it most likely has the clips already. Wait until you get it first and check for clips.

ill go ahead and order that used grill. if it doesn't have the clips i'll use the zip ties. this is just a short term solution until i start the body work part of my project. ill order a new grill from daryl once the performance work is done. gracias amigos!

I'd highly doubt there is much of a real life difference, there isn't a lot of restriction with the factory grill. Group A race GT-Rs had the grill, and if it's good enough for them, then it's pretty much good enough for everyone else.
