  • My low beam lights such

    Hey guys

I not sure if this has already been posted? but my low beam lights (projector lights) are not that brite. The high beams work fine. I have the head lights that use a H3C bulb. I not to sure if this is normal for GTRs but I can bearly see driving at nigth. Im sure they could be much briter. Its been like this since I bought the car. Could this be caused by a ground issue? I checked the voltage across the connector its at a stable 12v. Or could it be the bulb it self that does not give off sufficient ligth. I dont want to go out and by a new H3 bulb and get the same results. Im not to interested in doing a HID conversion but if I dont have a choice I will. does anyone else have this problem??

    HELP....

mine's a 91 as well and I did the HID conversion because I couldn't see a darn thing.

I've also ordered another HID kit to do my highbeams and I'll wire them so my low beam stays on as well.

its a 90, but I think the GTRs came with two different head lights.
seems like HID should solve my problem

              Skyline head lights are garbage.

Do a Acura TSX hid retro for $500 and 6 hours of labour and have the best OEM lights like mine!
              HID kits are garbage.

                I agree with GTR--J

Most HID kits are crap and you'll wind up blinding oncoming traffic. I did a similar retro fit and it made a huge difference.

i don't know, i have HIDs in N1s. once i adjusted them properly i find i can see good enough and don't blind anyone. i know this because i don't get people flashing their high beams at me anymore. The only time it's a bit sketchy is on tight hilly backroads in pitch black darkness. the lack of high beams kinda sucks.
