  • Anyone here running Mine's Super Outlet Pro II's on a BNR32 ?

Perhaps just my opinion, but the Mine's Super Outlet Pro II's look to me, like perhaps the BEST short dumps (OEM repalcements) available for an RB26DETT......(not counting the Greddy Extensions that is).

Is anyone here running a set of them ? (share your specs, performance & experience if so, please)

I am really interested in possibly looking into a set of these and was just looking for some user feedback.

    Thanks in advance.

The Mines are very similar to the HKS in design I think. Wingnut was running the Super Outlet I's I think, but I don't know of anyone running the II's.
The Trust Extension Front Pipe is nice as well, but must be used with Trust turbos. I am using it on my car with HKS 2530s, but there were some modifications that had to be done, and it's still not perfect.
Depending on who you talk to, there are varying opinions between the single pipe type, and the bypass type. My mechanic (Network garage) swears by single pipe types such as Tomei, or Midori, with a big, open front pipe such as Blitz or Midori.
I don't really think there is a bad choice in terms of performance for outlet pipes if you are dealing with a major manufacturers.

I am just wondering if the Mine's are really worth it at nearly 2x the price of an HKS kit, which seems to be the standard these days for those looking for a divorced wastegate dump......otherwise, like you said, the Tomei's if wide-open is desired.

Why did Tomei discontinue the 'Arms' version of their Dumps and replace them with the new Stainless steel 'Expreme' versions ? it looks to me like the old Arms dumps were actually bigger, weren't they ?

Also, I can't seem to find an inlet pic of the Tomei dumps.....

I do however recall the Mine's Pro I's. They looked hella-restrictive and turbulent thanks to the FLAT WALL of material directly facing the turbo on the inlet portion. The Super Pro II's seemed to have corrected this with a semi-divorced pipe setup, rather than angled (mostly flat in one part) metal contouring......

Anyone have an inlet pic (turbo side) of the new Tomei Expreme dumps ?

I'm not sure if the previous Arms outlets were bigger or not, they may have been.
The Midoris are on the bigger end at 76.3mm, the Tomeis are 68mm.

          Best picture I could find:

I like the Nismo dumppipes, as they have a curved divider plate that goes right up to back of turbo -

I wish they made them for GTS models.

Very similar to the Mine's Super Pro II's, with just a little more 'extended' separator inside, whereas the Mine's look flat at the flange.

...Daryl, The Old Tomei's (Arms) were 76.3mm as well, according to Greenline.

The separation is nice but not necessary. Mine's has some of the best parts but if tomei doesn't use separations, that means you're ok without them. If you got the money for Mine's stuff, do it!!!

Why would tomei make a newer (better?) turbo outlet but make it smaller???

true, they do look similar, but the Tomei have longer bungs and have Tomei embossed right in the metal.

HPI is japanese, yes. I've been told by some builders that Tomei uses some Chinese shop, I forget the woman's name, for exhaust parts.
