  • Changing O2 Sensors

I removed my front and rear O2 sensors using a 17mm deep socket. I can't find an O2 socket anywhere in that size though to put my new ones in. What do you guys do?

You could try using a 17mm crows foot...

Buy a cheap 17mm deep socket and use an angle grinder to cut a groove down one side. I made one and it works just titties.

for tightening I'd just use a wrench.

O2 sensor tools are pretty common though, I picked mine up for around 10 bux.

I just used a metric stubby wrench. The rear one's pretty hard to get at, luckily I have small hands.
