  • I got it!!!!!!!!!

    So i had an oil leak, thought of several changes, new gasket on the valve cover, new filter, however i found this awesome piece of equipment that had a paper gasket on...Good job Japan
    So i took some photos, anyone have any idea where to get a new gasket for this? Thanks in advance

    That is one WEIRD looking relocation kit....
    Look in the manual it SHOULD say, if not then buy a better relocation kit :P

      I ordered one through Gord Scott Nissan here in Red Deer, had 3 in stock in Calgary. It was here the next day..

        Who said it was a filter relocation? haha, i believe its called the base plate

              It does have a Greddy stamp so it's definitely after market. What that think that looks like a hose clamp/plug by the filter face plate? Are those cut wires? If it's oil related then it's either a oil cooler or oil recirculation device?. You can just get a sheet of paper gasket, stick it on and cut one up yourself.

                yeah it is aftermarket, cut wires where?? As for paper no....That's why its off in the first place

                  Maybe try local stores around you. When my thermostat housing was leaking I went to Canadian Tire and found the exact shape. And it has been working and not leaking since

                  Edit: Keep us updated on what you find! Might help someone else with the same problem.

                      the only thing aftermarket on there is the greddy sandwich plate... the big chunky thing is the oem oil cooler. the wires going to it are for the stock oil temp sensor.

                            Ah I see, my skyline came with an oil filter relocation kit installed so I never have to venture deep under the intake manifold.

                              Auto Value has racks of rolled up gasket material every size, thickness and most materials. It doersn't take long to cut your own out.
