  • AMS Brake lines.

I was about to purchase a set of stainless braided brake lines for my r32 gtr and they told me they sell the 300zx sets for the gtr application .I've noticed in their picture that there is only 4 lines in total..In the gtr the fronts have 2 lines per wheel .Is there a way to fit the 300zx ones?Maybe by removing those metal blcok junctions and replacing it with a straight line?

you can keep the hardline going from the block to the caliper, if using the stock calipers
in my case, i had soft lines made from the block to caliper to ease changing pads on the bigger R33 calipers

Sorry to hear that but thanks for telling me I was about to buy them! Did they refund you the money?

They are still sitting in a bubble envelope. the fronts will fit but the rears i was sent wont. The length and fittings are off.

You can pick up fittings at a Bosch hydraulics store. I forget what they're called, but if you take the wrong one in (I think it's a male/female difference) they'll walk to the back and get you what you need.
I'm surprised to hear there's a length issue. Did you retain your OE hard line?

RIGHT when the lines get dropped at my door. (sigh)

Edit: Reread Hyrev's post, I was only looking to change the fronts anyway, so at least that.

So is this an AMS issue or the fact that 300zx lines don't fit, because I was going to order a set for my gts soon, and now don't know what to get.

The lines AMS sells are for 300ZX and nowhere do they say it fits for the R32.

AMS is Canada's premier tuner and parts developer/provider for Nissan Z vehicles (300ZX, 350Z, 370Z), Infiniti G vehicles (G35, G37), and the Skyline GTR (R32, R33, R34, and R35 GT-R). AMS also specializes in performance tuning and OEM servicing of all Nissan and Infiniti brand vehicles.

I just got a set of HKS SS brake lines from Sumopower off Ebay and the rear lines do have different fittings then the 300ZX.

But if you ask Vuk from AMS he will tell you that they fit R32 GTR.
