245/40R18 Falken 912's, is what I'm running. Pretty much a performance all season tire, doesn't grip as good as the UHP tires but, it does it's job on the street.

Nexen tires are rubbish. Korean made. Had nexen n2000 on a 300zx and it gripping sux balls. I had a pair of nexen n7000, brand new tires and just I gave it to my friend. After he drove on it for a couple of days, he hated them as well.

What size rim? Depends on what you are doing. If its just street driving there are lots of tire options open. Get a brand name tire thats on sale and has a profile you like.

Doing track days and/or auto slalom, that narrows things down. Bridgestone RE-11, Direzza Z1 starspec, Advan AD08, Kumho XS, Hankook RS-3 and Toyo R1R are great extreme performance tires. RE-11's are best all round and by far the best in the wet.

I run Hankook Z214 for dry track and Conti Xtreme DW for wet track and street. Conti's are better than the RE-11's in the wet but no where near as good in the dry.

                    For GT-Rs I would recommend 265/35/18 or 255/40/17

I've got personal experience with the bolded ones above and can confirm they're a good track tire. I daily drive my GT-R in the summer and both of these tires are fine for that, including rain. Don't try to run them in the snow.

if you are looking for great street only tires, with good rain traction,
                            theres the Falken FK-452
or with more budget there is the Yokohama S.Drive, one of the best street tire (above 200tw)
