I been searching the forums for last few days to see if i can find any threads that can guide me for removal of the front diff on my car but havnt had any luck finding threads! i would greatly apperciate if someone can help me out on this! let me know what tools i need and what to watch out for. Any links to other sites or here where someone has done this?

I was going to do it but I'm not an advanced tech so I got Andrew (Monkeynuts to do the work). Something like 6 hours with a new diff install and he knows what he's doing.Black 1991 GTR. Serious garage stand mantle/parts car.

andrew has a small shop going here in port coquitlam now. If you need his number I can pm it to you.
as far as doing it yourself.... go to gtrpwr.com and upload the GTR FSM. Its in there, all in english. Give you a good idea on whats involved.ALLEN PETERSEN

What are you doing to your front diff? Improper shim could cause problems or failure to a new diff. When you remove the stock diff, mark the shims so they can be replaced to their original position. Most of times, you will be OK if you keep the shims in their original location. If your are not sure, please use dye to verify if the teeth get correct contact patch afterward.
