      OSGiken kit uses NEW oem R33 synchros.

        I'm running all 5 gears in a brand new R33 box. RPM's are still fine on the highway, although I don't use this car for long trips.
        I bought it complete with new transfer case for about $5k shipped. Had to get a push to pull type conversion, which is no big deal.
        I really like the gearbox, mostly because I don't have to think about it. It just works, and always has the right gear. I drive fast, but smooth so I'm not forcing fast shifts or anything.
        Great upgrade, but like Bruizer says - it costs a fair bit more than a used, good condition OEM box.

          5k? thats really not bad was it new? do you have a link? id look to look into this more. to see what kinda power it can handle

            It was new, but a private deal. I don't have a link, but I've been running 500 whp on the track and it's been quite happy.
