I'm confused with what you mean by that :P. Like I was told my car was a 1993 (all the import papers says 1993) BUT the production date in FAST is May/92 so I've just been calling it a 1992 since that's when it was built. Am I doing it wrong lol?

Production date and model year are two different things. New models are always available way before the new year. Just think about it for a second....if you go to a dealership this year, you will be able to buy 2012 models.

As far as your situation, everything seems fine. Your car was just probably one of the earlier built 1993 models.
