r32 seibon hoods

Hey guys, did my research.. also interesting in the JU style, anyone got pictures of one fitted on a skyline !?
or any seibon carbon on a black skyline

Seibon is as good as knock off (if I recall right, they started off as a copy company). yuck. fits like crap unless you modify them which is a pain...

Anyway, the seibon hoods weight as much or more than the stock hood and won't make your car faster. hahaha.

ive heard from people who have used siebon hoods it does take fitting and have issues with fitment (bulging in the middle along the fender and they are and heavier than oem (no idea how much)

I can confirm Seibon as a company is a pain to deal with also. My hood (model TT) came without the air intake vent. I called the customer service about it, and was told that the air vent was discontinued and now they're all like the one i received. That was in 2010. I've meet other owners who ordered there's after that and had the vent. And to had to that 6months later the hood turned yellowish. [IMG][/IMG]

Turning yellow I'm aware of the issue, but as a detailer, I can deal with this issues, but none the less, I will forget seibon.
