5 available doesn't mean the seller has 5 in stock. I shop on Ebay and in a few times my stuff doesn't get shipped a week or two after the listing ended. Some of the sellers pre sell their goods and then order and ship afterwards.

Don't forget you need an Fcon too.

V-cam are basicaly variable timing cam for the intake. They are none for the exhaust since there is a simmilar system from factory on this side. And you don't need a Fcon since the V-cam come with there own controler but you definitevly need a way to tune your engine with that kind of mod. And I don't think there only 30 in the world it's just that you don't see them often on North American car since they'r so expensive and where mostly used by japanese tuner for there demo car. Do a search for the Zero-R from HKS.

                        Well,

Guess someone here actually saw it before me sorry for double post....

And guess RHDJapan has it too (here's the pro version)
RHDJapan offers the best quality performance parts made in Japan including Nismo, Mugen, Defi, Spoon, Cusco, Tomei, HKS and other JDM brands.

Here is the difference between the step1 and the pro, and list of parts needed.

Here is a vid of tsuchiya driving a r34 with the system on and off.

And finally here is the HKS web site where they have a dyno printout, it clearly
shows how it can improve the torque.

                          nice post

variable valve timing is a great thing. its a shame there isn't an oem or aftermarket system for the rb26. in the FI BMW world where they have the option of running the oem valve timing system or not, almost always it is used.

check out this before/afer variable timing graph of a turbo 2.5L bmw:
                          oh hai!

There was an initial run of about 30. Now they are just a special order item.

Vcam=Variable intake cam timing. Gets pretty awesome results but for the price it's probably the last mod you would do, right after the hollinger.

They made 3 kinds of VCAM. Essentially 3 stages, I think the Stage 1 was 256degree, Stage 2 was 272 and Stage 3 was 300degree. Stage 3 they only made 30 of, but they made many more of Stage 1 and 2.
