Nothing against power FCs at all, I ran one in the past and loved it. I just don't like the fact that it has been tuned by lord knows who and then probably adjusted by the owner, that is the sketchy part.

That is true they are a bit out dated, but at the same time ultimately does it really matter? No skyline people generally ever do any mods that aren't supported by the power fc, so what difference does it make? As long as you have a good tuner that can work with it. They are still the only stand alone I know of for any nissan that comes with a basemap pre-programmed so the car will usually start, idle and run even if its converted to map. If you convert to map using say an AEM it's alot more difficult from what I gather.-Pat B R33 GTR-

I was thinking the same thing as RABBIT at first, ya know living in 2011 not 1999, then I realized my car was made in 1990. If I really wanted to live in 2011 I would buy a new GTR. The thing is I can't always afford to live in 2011 and am totally fine living within the boundaries of 1990-1999 (R32/3/4 GTR era). It is more then I can handle anyways.
That being said, I might still go with vipec, only because that is what my tuner knows. I am just sick of everyone telling me I have to have the best and most expensive parts available or I am just going to have to do everything over again! It is just ridiculous and unreasonable for most people.
I don't personally know anyone who could push a 500+hp car beyond it's capabilities! I would be hard pressed to push a 250hp car to it's limits on my local track. On the street it is stupid. If you are using all 500+hp you had better be on the autobahn or doing it in very short busts!
I don't mean to step on anyone's toes here but come on! Really?!
