      Found something interesting:

      Fram (oil filter) -> Parent: Honeywell International Inc.

      As per Wikipedia anyways... may have to rethink using that Honeywell until I can find more info on these.

      Also, found on BITOG:

      "New blue filters are made by Honeywell Canada, and the innards are identical to orange-can Frams."

      This is regarding the Subaru OEM filters from the dealer. I was not happy when my local shop put in a Fram on my Impreza but looks like the $15 extra for OEM would have been money wasted as they use the blue ones.

        Napa Gold filters are wix. Easy to find, proven efficiency, and cheap.

        I don't know why people go on these treasure hunts when the answer is right around the corner.

          Well I just picked my GTR up recently and maybe doing a bit too much reading on multiple sources of info, but have not found much agreement on one product vs. the other.

          Do you know which Napa Gold filters work with the R32 GTR? NAPA part number?

            my car had OEM filter 15208-60U00 from the last oil change, i replaced it with NAPA GOLD 1396 (toyota MR2 '91-'95 2.0L) filter...exact same size!

              Napa Gold 1361.
