I'd consider buying it as a track car but definitely not for even close to 5, maybe 2500
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

The price difference between the two cars is appealing, yes...but there's much more involved since you're located in the states. Might equal just selling said Skyline/GTR and buying an Audi here.
Ive traded quite a few cars including a 02 audi tt for a silvia and no one has ever really had a issue or complaint.

I never said it was an issue, I just asked whether you'd be meeting here in Canada and paying the customs fees or if we would have to meet you in the states.

Anyway, good luck and hope you find your Gtr.

Ah gotcha now Ive meet past the border(us) and they took care of whatever they had to, its a bit different down here. And thank you I have a chance to get a really nice gts down here but my heart is set on a gtr.

The guy was somewhat of an a-hole on the phone. Asked me if I even knew what Skylines were worth when I questioned his pricing. Also, said the shell could be written off and still worth $3000

Interesting. I'll remember that next time.

I agree with everything except the price of the 33gtr. If I could get one for that I would buy one right now. But ya I would buy the car from him for 2500 and completely gut it myself and track it

Why would they remove the AWD from a GTR? It's like removing the Godzilla status.

hahaha yea i thought so too

so it is underinsurance claim but not reported yet?
how can it ¨^ all ofa sudden¨¨ be writen off for 3000.00

sounds more like it allready is written off and he only got $3000.00 and keep the car and is trying to make a buck selling it off

                    salavage branded vehicle ... probably

i bet he counting on it taking a long time to register so new buyer doesnt find out its branded for a month

awd is heavy and from what ive seen makes a great deal of understeer (imo)

infact hicas was designed to makes a slight amount of oversteer on purpose to make cornering faster
as the car came with understeer naturally and it was losing time trying to create oversteer( hand brakeing are weight transfer to compensate for the understeer)

i personally dont like awd .. i like counter steer...lol personal taste i guess

i stand corrected on r33gtr as new landed 95 are 15.000.00 but i still think you could find a fixer upper for under 10 easily (with time)

If you find one let me know though. Although many people don't like the look I like that fat ass on it and think if done right the car could look great. I will buy another skyline when the right deal comes along and definitely not anytime soon

Have you owned an R33 previously? Or just 32's?
