Minus the Getrag gearbox and shorter wheelbase! Suspension components are the same Hicas is very good and the R33 interior is better quality than the R34! I've seen a lot of R34 GTR's with a pretty scratched up/ worn interior!
    Just saying!
Thats what im sayin! Grab a Series 3 V Spec, throw on an R34 front and call it a day. We all know the R33's rear is the sexiest of all the GTR's

The look of the R33 doesn't appeal to me. Too round and soft looking. Please don't take offense it's simply a matter of taste. I am well aware of the R33s attributes.
As of right now I don't think you could get an R34 for $40G but I anticipate the prices to go down over the next 2 years. If not I'm quite content to keep my R32.
    Thank you for your input.

    Rob

What you have said are all things I've been considering. One of the reasons I like my car so much is because it does almost everything very well. It "shows" very well, it is remarkable at the track and I can drive it where ever I want in relative comfort. I don't think it's easy to have a car that can do that.
I LOVE the look of the R34 more than the the R32. I like that it will be more unique. Difference in performance isn't really a factor in the decision aside from where I am now a stock R34 I'm quite sure wouldn't be as quick.
I can not and would not have both. I'm not operating in an income bracket that would allow that.
Right now I'm leaning towards keeping my R32 and doing a complete restoration/build. Making the car everything I want it to be... except an R34.

Buy the R34, don't sell the 32, and afterwards if you find you need the cash then sell the r32. If you don't then keep both. thats if the wife will let you lol. if you can afford it and afford to own both then u have my blessings!

The electric technology is not more Green for the planet, it just saves you more fuel while causing more pollution, you cant really throw away those acidic batteries and alot more smog pollution is caused to manufacturer them than it is making an internal combustion engine.

As the average MPG of vehicles go up, so do gas prices. This is why we need to go back to the days of unrestricted exhausts, deep-throaty exhaust notes (giggity) and manly Co2 fumes!

boboo, what is it that your looking for if you get an r34... what would be make it so worth your while spending 40k and still needing to dump quite a bit more into it afterwards just to try n fallow your present r32..

if you want an car that just makes makes people turn heads and be very unique and stepping up your game to something little newer and fancier then do it up. and yeah like someone else said before, when i close my eyes n think skyline its always an r34 that comes to mind... and its more of a show car in my opinion even though you can always track it and make serious power.

so do you want to spend 40k for looks? or just to drive on the hwy? or will it be your everything car?

ive wanted an r34 since before i had my license, their just so amazing all around in my opinion, and i plan on getting one once im done with my car, but its just such a huge nissan icon. its like a big deal in my mind you know.

when you walk out your front door, and walk up to your car, do you have a big grin on your face or when you park at the mall, do you love being in it and driving it? if so, which i assume it is a yes, do you want an r34 because you want to have a bigger smile on your face? THAN DO IT. i love walking up to my car, but if i was an r34 i would pretty much skip about and have a panic attack because id be so excited, i know being 36 maybe you wont act so childish as myself, but will the 34 really satisfy you more? if its yes, then its worth it, if you doubt that youll love it more, or have more use, then keep your r32 and get something that you more excited.

thats kinda how i view it. btw true, all gts are amazing cars, all their own, but monsters under the skin.

but true being 36 it would be nice having a car thats little fancier inside, just feels good stepping into a gorgeous interior but having that beast hiding under the hood.

( i hope you can an r34, would love to see pics n videos haha )

Cmon now, they're not that great of car to own two of em! Why not have a r32 OR r34 and get something else, something different. For example, once I get rid of my gtr, I'm going back to a muscle car or worst case, keep the gtr as a dd/beater and get a ford GT or newer mustang (supercharged of course), 2 different cars entirely. If they had the same peak power, the GT would eat the gtr (more oomph under the curve so to speak cause small displacement engines don't have lower-mid range power like the bigger ones). I don't see the fun of owning 2 old sportcars that aren't that cheap to fix when they're so alike unless I have excess money with no other purpose than toys.

LOL. It was just way too funny! A young Keiichi Tsuchiya was there wearing a firesuit, soft sole shoes and his signature helmet than you see artyon senna blast his lap time by seconds in a blazer and loafers.

For anyone that's picked up gran turismo on playstation 1 the R34 GTR has been their favorite car i know it was to me over 13 years ago. The R34 GTR is our 1970 Chevelle SS. Except till to date I can't think of more than 5 cars that have surpassed it since it was made. EVO, STI, M3, 911 TT and NSX. Even though Best Motoring GOD Keiichi Tsuchiya said that the RX-7 is a faster car. After having owned one reliability is a factor. The reason why 4 out of those 5 are better because they are still being made. If you need to compare an EVO to a R34 it needs to be the EVO 7, BMW M3 E46 and so on. Nissan did really well for the techs for the time that they've had. Now the R35 runs circles around all of those cars so that argument is pointless. R34, S2000, NSX, RX-7 and Supra were made when driving was more raw they all come with a manual transmission with a clutch, no paddle shift ******** even though its quicker my mom can still drive it so its a no in my book. I personally think that the R32 looks dated but so does the E30 M3 but I love it to death those are the original the cars that started the legend and the only actual cars to win races lol. At the end of the day 30 years from now when you mention Skyline GTR the R32, 33 and 34 will come to mind so pick your poison. At the end of the day though the Skyline that is better is the newest one so the R34 trumps all... you can easily win the argument and say the R35 is the best. if it came with a 6 speed getrag in there im sure a lot of your opinions would be different. I will get a R34 GTR on the minute its allowed to be legal here and ill never look back nothing in my mind is better. Look at MKIV owners i used to be one and I got rid of it to get an S2000 and proudly admit that. But those guys think their cars are worth their weight in gold even wrecked examples but it holds a place in their hearts that will never be voided. Those guys will never admit that those cars are dogs on the track and give a numb sensation in the corners. Even though its true it doesnt matter when its your dream car.
