By muffler he means resonator methinks. And it would make sense that manufacturers use 3" inlets to actually fit existing cat converters.

i want a nice clean can out the end HKS or Greddy style. I think im going to run Vibrants 4" in and 4" out and just run an inducer before the muffler. The burns muffler is nice but it is not a 4.5 outlet it is 3.5 inlet and outlet and a 4.5 outer body. Thanks though! but now you see what i mean about trying to find a universal muffler can with a 3.5" inlet!

I'm putting together a 4" straight through system with a by-pass valve and a small resonator. Valve closed, all of it goes through the 1.75" resonator, valve open, wake the dead. I've had the parts for a while, no time. I'll post pics when I do.

I want the screamer pipe plumbed back in to the exhaust, I can't hear the turbo, or my own thoughts....lol. it will still be stupid loud when wide open, just all of it coming out the back. When I want to sneak by some fuzz (there are one or two twisted old farts close to retirement here) when need be, or listen to my Neil Diamond CDs.

i Have a Tomei Ti on my GTR and i love it. I have A exotic Speed one for sale if you have looked at them at all. It was a good exhaust as well. I just wanted the tomei one.

rstuning replied 750$ for the downpipe and 1200$ for the catback. I would jus get a tomei TI at 1100$ if it was me.

The car sound sick with the open wastgate, Before james (speed) sold this gtr i was bugging him to get an exhaust, glad to hear that u are getting one done.

ya it sounds good but its way too quite and i HATE the look of the current exhaust anyways. The tomei exhaust is probably the best you can buy for the price. at just over 1000 bucks its a good deal. Ryan hows your car running so far?
