fuel pump

when going around a long turn the car would die sometimes, the pump was jammed in there, but thats not the best part, look at this... not cool[IMG] Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]....yea.. that was in my gas tank.... i had a spare pump and sending unit,got it all back together, guess we will see tomorrow how she runs. i tried adjustying the fuel pressure yesterday, it would only go as high as 40, but as soon as i put that pump in it was at 65.

I also picked up a sick set of wheels today, rota p45r 18x9.5 +20, hyper black chrome,got a really good deal on them. cant wait to get some rubber for em [IMG] Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG][IMG] Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG].

Looks exactly like a stock Supra/Denso fuel pump. HKS and other tuners in Japan use a similar looking fuel pump (Denso) as well, so hard to say if it's a stock Supra or not fuel pump (would have to flow test it to see if it's 255lph = Supra or 340lph = HKS or similar).

Depends on voltage to fuel pump. Could be right, as it seems to be around 273lph at 40psi, 12 volts (factory is usually 10-12 volts) -

It has photo's in above link and you can see the above fuel pump is a Denso fuel pump.

Awesome, so should be a decent pump, I think it's just the way it was crammed in there, the sock is different, instead of going in the little space for it in the tank, it was wrapped underneath the pump, kinda kinked off maybe, but the gtr one seems to work fine, no bogging around turns . How much is the gtr pump rated for?

From memory stock R32 GTR fuel pump is around 190-195lph, but not sure at what voltage. I assume 12v. I think R33 V-spec or N1 V-spec had a higher lph fuel pump stock (255 lph), but I remember it was mentioned that it had more voltage to fuelpump (hardwired on N1) and a fuel cooler on N1, as the fuel gets heated being sent to and from hot engine.

stock gtr are rated at 195 boss and that fuel pump look like an sard 280 i just install one in my car look very similar..

Not a bad looking set of rims for knock offs. How much were they? Cast aluminum? Just curious cause I need a cheap set to beat on for the track.

$ 450 they are used. hardly any rash at all, tiny bit on two. And they look so much better in person, I couldn't say no,not sure what u mean by knockoff? Knockoff Rotas? Lol Or te's ? Kinda but they diDnt come close if they were tying to match lol. Oh yeah, when I met the guy, kinda happened to be a celebrity . Not chuck Norris but biggest celeb I've ever met lol.

I'm not even sure what there made of lol, think they come in a +12 too , would be a little better fit, varrstoens look basically the same but even cheaper than these, not sure About the weight difference
