  • Need help to decode VIN

I'm looking for info on how to decode my 1990 Skyline BNR-32 GT-R V.I.N. to determine the date of Manufacture. Not a lot of info out there on this topic. I have noticed several owners referring to a site they refer to as FAST, but can't locate it. If you have a breakdown for each of the characters in a 1990 GTR VIN plate, please pass it on.
    Thanks in advance.

FAST isn't a website, it's a program you can install; it's linked on these forums somewhere if you search.

This is also probably helpful, http://www.gtrusablog.com/2013/01/ni...ion-dates.html

Can't find a site to load the Nissan Fast program from.
My vin is BNR32-004413. Using the other site you linked still didn't answer my question. Got any other ideas?

I know you got the answer from another thread; but yours is number 004413 off the line, the dates on the site correspond to the starting number... so yours would be 1989/12.

Looking at selling to the US maybe? Lol. Me too possibly. My vin is 4408, and yes, December 1989 build.

If the VIN starts with 1xxxxx, then it's a Nismo car. I.E. BNR32-100xxx where 100001 to 100560 were used as numbers for the Nismo cars.
