Q45 rotors on r32 gtr?

I'm wanting to do my rotors all the way around and would like to know if q45 fronts will fit on my gtr. They have the same diameter and hat height but are 4mm thinner. Would just like to find something local.

In theory it would probably work but from a safety standpoint the rotors are manufactured for a specific car and are not meant for cross overs. The other problem is the extended travel of the calliper pistons from the smaller rotors which could cause the piston seals to push out far enough and leak (dangerous). I'm sure the local Nissan should be able to get the correct ones in stock relatively quick. If I can get new quarter panels brought into the dealer in 2days, I'm sure rotors would be easier

Please do not use Q45 rotors on a GT-R, brakes are not something you want to jerry-rig.
We sell proper BNR32 specific rotors, as well as other shops, so please get the correct rotors for your vehicle.

Its not so much that I wanted to rig anything up. I was just looking at a possible cheaper option with lots of choices for rotors available.

For arguments sake, you could do it. If standard GTR rotors were just at min. thickness and your pads were completely done you would end up with the pistons extending much farther than the Q45 rotors and new pads. The caveat would be that you wouldnt be able to let the Q45s wear very much and the pads could only go down 50%. You also would not be able to track the car at all because the rotors would overheat very quickly. For putting around and normal shinanigans though it would be OK....just OK.

It would be manditory as well to let any new owner of your car know that you have done this......

IMO you bought the wrong car to go cheap on. Zilla is a serious animal born for the track and should be regarded so. I say buy a cheap shift knob not cheap brake rotors, especially not designed for application at hand.
